Welcome to The Korean House. The website and brand are operated by The Korean House PVT LTD with its registered office at Sindhubhavan, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or place orders with the active involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian, to use this website and make purchases.

3. Products & Pricing

All prices displayed on the website are listed in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly stated otherwise.

4. Orders & Payment

Placing an order on our platform constitutes an offer to buy; it is confirmed and binding only once we accept it and issue an official Order Confirmation with an assigned Order ID.

We accept 100% secure online payments via UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), and Net Banking through our authorized payment aggregator partners.

Part-payment: when checkout offers it, you can instead pay a small advance online and the rest of the order total in cash or UPI to our courier on delivery. The advance is shown at checkout before you pay. It is refunded in full if the order is cancelled before dispatch, but not refunded if you refuse the parcel at delivery, as it covers our courier charges.

We reserve the right to cancel any order due to sudden stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, or payment processing issues, and we will refund you in full if we do.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping timelines, courier partners, dispatch schedules, and delivery charges are comprehensively governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including the Seoul Plushes Collection characters, their names, stories, and designs, artwork, photographs, brand logos, typography, and written content — is owned exclusively by The Korean House PVT LTD and protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and design laws.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the website in any manner, including:

• Attempting unauthorised access to our systems, servers, or user accounts.
• Posting defamatory, fraudulent, or false reviews.
• Injecting viruses, worms, scripts, or malicious code.
• Using the website or customer communications for any unlawful or deceptive purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, The Korean House's total aggregate liability for any claim relating to your order or site usage is strictly limited to the actual amount paid by you for that specific order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential losses.

Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays, delivery failures, or performance impediments caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, postal/courier disruptions, regional curfews, or government restrictions.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or orders shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

11. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, our Grievance Officer's details are:

Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt and redressed within 1 month.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect business changes or statutory amendments. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms.
