This Privacy Policy sets forth our practices regarding the collection, handling, storage, transfer, and protection of digital personal data when you interact with our website (thekoreanhouse.in and thekoreanhouse.com) and purchase our products.

A. Contact & Delivery Information
When you create an account, place an order, or contact customer care, we collect your Full Name, Email Address, 10-digit Mobile Phone Number, Delivery Address (street, apartment, city, state, pincode), and recipient details.
B. Transaction & Order History
Records of products purchased, quantities, sizes, order amounts, timestamp of order, delivery tracking numbers, discount coupons applied, and communication logs.
C. Device & Browsing Metadata
IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent per page, and referral source, collected via server logs and anonymized analytical tokens.
We process your personal data on the lawful ground of fulfilling our contract with you (processing and shipping your order) or based on your explicit consent:
Zero Payment Credential Storage Guarantee
The Korean House NEVER stores, processes, or retains your credit card numbers, debit card numbers, CVVs, expiry dates, or UPI PINs on any of our internal databases or servers.
All electronic payments are routed directly through Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-regulated payment aggregator compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS Level 1) and end-to-end 256-bit SSL encryption.
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill customer orders, honor warranties, resolve disputes, and maintain statutory GST sales ledgers (typically 6 years under Indian taxation statutes).
Technical safeguards in place include bcrypt password hashing, encrypted SSL/TLS data transmission in transit, database access segregation, and regular security audits.
